Jennifer Trenkle
Jennifer Trenkle began her dance training with Teresa Wells and Aliyah Hassan at the age of nine at La Mesa Arts Academy after seeing a production of The Nutcracker. When LMAA moved to Dance Express, she continued her dance education under Tracy Van Baleen. She began branching out and taking different styles of dance in 2004, but her first love has always been ballet. While at Dance Express, she began training to be a teacher by Liana Hesketh in 2008, fulfilling her training and teaching her own class in 2009. The same year, Ms. Trenkle joined La Diego 2 under the company’s director, Daniel Marshall. Ms. Trenkle is currently dancing with The Dance Conservatory as much as possible and teaching her own ballet level 1 class, while learning and performing with La Diego 2 and taking dance class at Grossmont High School, where she is finishing her junior year.
